thank you.....i wonder if anyone's skied the prophet 130's, must be rad, but they look like they would be a scary bitch if you got going mach10 and needed to turn quickly to avoid something....so tempting, lol
i talked to my friend who owns them, and he said this - they suck ass, too heavy and big to throw around, superb floating gives no face shots unless you slash a turn then ski through the snow (note:we ski in the PNW), and either the sidecut/dimensions or where there mounted is weird because you have to work really hard to charge.
good comment, thanks. when you look at them you'd think they would just rip like a snowboard, but i'm sure the weight of things alone is enough to kill the experience.
im sure they could be a sick ski if you live somewhere where like colorado, where they dont get concrete for snow. he sold them. you could also probably charge on them i just think he was feeling weird becuase he had to widen out his stance for that wide of a ski. you could probably get used to them and ski them good.
a good skier makes a good ski, a good ski doesnt make a good skier
i'm skiing in france, i don't know how that compares to most places in the states. good quality snowfalls, but probably nothing that this ski needs to shine. i'm thinking about the elizabeth for fun powder days, looks like a fun ski anyway....public enemies get me through the days when the snow is hard, i'm thinking the elizabeth would be a nice change of pace
