Mods are given their own discrepencies, that is why only people Harvey truely trusts are mods. We all have the site in our best interests though, and use a mod forum to discuss any shaddy areas

Ok, so the legal agreement gives the basic rules, but it doesn't make everything 'black or white', so to speak. So how do you reach a decision on what do get rid of when it's not covered by that?

Interesting...So moderators are given enough slack that it could conceivably depend on who's saying it, when(ie, sept. 11 jokes on sept 12, for example) and how a particular mod feels about it? It just seems that I've been reading threads lately, and I go back to them and certain posts(sometimes quite a few) have been deleted. At the same time, random(yet just as offensive) posts by NS' many assholes(you know who they are) don't get deleted. And every time I notice an asshole post that's left undeleted, it's always someone with a high number of posts(magic number seems to be 500) or someone who's been a member 'since the start', so to speak. The moderation on this site seems to me to be begging for a set of specific criteria for deleting threads and posts.

I dont get it. Do you think they are playing favorites as to who can post offensive stuff? I think its best to just stop thinking about it because Harvey and the Mods know best for whats gonna give ns a bad name or offend people.
