What camera do you use when you film ski flicks

so im looking to buy a new camcorder, ideally id like a canon GL1, but its a little out of my price range. what minidv camera do use guys use when you film?

its not a 32mm, what you mean is 35mm, and its not even that. The RED cam is digi, sillyface.

panasonic MX-500, it was $1500Australian. I dunna what that is where you are from.it super sweet, its what used to shoot the kaunertal video youll see on the site tomorrow

you guys suck at listening, he said between $500-800, and i understand that red is digi but it has similar quality to 32mm which is way more than he needs.

take a look on ebay... you may be able to find a used gl1 of vx1000 in that price range.

get a sony for $500 and then download virtualdub for free. if you know how to film right you will be producing cinema quality videos with that setup.
