yo i was wondering wht size skis i should get... i am about 6' and 175 pounds.. i ski prolly like 95% park since i live in the east and we dont get any powder... i was thinking about 176's but wht dou guys think cuz u guys seem to kno ur shit thanks
ur a pretty big guy so i would first say get some like all mountain twins since there fatter than normal park skis they will be stabiller and for length its were u like it but i think 176 is like around ur chin witch would prob be to small but it all depends how tall u like em im 5'6 and like my skis head height or above and am not getting anything smaller than 175 next season
I know I'm going against what everybody else is saying, but I honestly don't think 176 is too short. If you're skiing 95% park, you want something that's quicker side to side, more manuverable, and lighter... and most narrow-waist 176s (such as ar5s) are all about that. The only benefit I see with longer skis in the park is a bigger landing platform, but then you have to compromise the swing weight.
I'm 6'2" 175lbs and I ski 176 AR5s in the park. I have 187s for everywhere else... but when I'm in the park, 176 is perfect. Go for it...
