Final cut pro chapters

So I put the marks in their proper places, name the mark and edit the mark to , then I export it as a final cut pro movie, but the skip function doesn't work. Am I missing something, someone who knows FCP please help me out.

chapters only work when you export to dvd studio pro or Idvd to burn it.


they dont work when you export your movie for quicktime

exactly. adobe encore allows for chaptering and dvd title screen.. look into that .. all you need is m2v and m2a files which can be done through quicktime pro easily.

ya i export it to idvd and i doesn't work but the "skip to marker" fuction in FCP works though, and I don't understand the adobe advice

Fyi, make sure to also mark in and out points in the movie thenonce exporting it as a final cut pro movie make sure to find the makers option and select chapter markers.

Just send the whole project to DVD Studio Pro and it automatically sets them.
