Rewind to late Feb. Im riding my first gen Public Enemies and just dinking around in the park on some mini ramp feature that Waterville had set up. I wrap up and toss my skis in the rack only to notice that one of the tails is snapped right behind the binding. Oh well I figure, it was bound to happen sooner or later...afterall the skis have 3 seasons on them.
So I go into work (at a ski shop) and figure, what the hell, I'll send them in and let K2 have a look at them. If anything, they might get a kick out of the camo paint job and the 4 sets of holes drilled in one ski (original shop messed up when mounting, never told me). So I call, get an RA and send them off.
Fast forward to today. I havent worked at the shop in about a month since the season wrapped up. I go in the back and there is a box from K2 with my name on it. I open it up expecting to find the old Publics mailed back. Instead is a brand new pair of next years Publics. Im pretty stoked on K2 for replacing a 3 season old pair of skis. They could have easily just sent them back.
If anyone from the company reads this thanks a ton K2!
