I hate how people complain about mtv and band's selling out. You don;t like mtv? DONT WATCH IT! Hate a band because they 'sold out'? boohoo, selfish bastards; if you like a band you should be happy that they are getting their music out and being on national tv so everybody can hear them, not bitching because you'll be liking the same band as a bunch of other people.

nicely put.

and as far as hating bands for selling out. if youve been in a band probably for several years, and made barely any money from it and all of a sudden someone offers you a huge record deal, wouldnt you take it. call me crazy but i would love to make lots of money playing in a band
