1. Alpine Meadows period
Northstar if you wanna be straight thuggin, and wait in line with a 20 tools waiting to hit one jib.
Mt. Rose is a joke.
Squaw Valley doesnt build there park til like April. Seriously
Heavenly is decent .
Sierra and Kirkwood are good, but then again you live in bumfuck nowhere.
Alpine is pretty dope, They have the biggest jumps, and they got dope jibs to. Better bring your A game if you goin to ride AM, especially if your hitting nicks, 87 feet on the bottom hit this year

Sierra at Tahoe for sure. Northstar is good for rails. Squaws fun too.

I'd say during Southshore Soldiers Heavenly has one of the best parks. Sierra is good, Alpine has sick jumps. Kirkwood's park sorta sucked this year till the end of the season.
Northstar is cool in theory but I just didn't really have much fun there.

Yo, don't hate on this guy if he doesn't want to drop upwards of $60/day just to stay in the park. You also don't need the quality of parks you will get at someplace like northstar if you aren't very good.
That said, not only have I never been to Tahoe, I have very little idea what the mountains are like there. That is why I clicked on this thread.

Alpine's jumps are the best in Tahoe BY FAR. The only issue is that they didn't have all that many features this year, so Northstar was more fun as far as jibs go.
However, Jonahs says he has big plans for Alpine next year (including maybe even a mile long terrain park with hella features), so if that gets done then Alpine will have the sickest park hands down.

If you're coming to Tahoe to ride park you're best off at Northstar or Boreal if you want Pipe/Jibs, Alpine actually had great jumps this year, but no pipe and Squaw is still going through MAY with four jumps that are decent, some fun jibs and an uncut pipe (cut only on thurs. and fri.'s). I didn't really ski the resort parks more than a handful of days this year because it just kept snowing everyday. Mammoth is still the place to move if you really want to ski a great park that has lots of everything with people throwing down....... one more thing....ski for yourself, not to represent some ski company that you're not even sponsored by, don't name drop, and don't spin flat footed peace

Alpine meadows for sure. Although I hope not everyone catches on and it turns into a northstar. Alpine has big plans for next year and they always have the best jumps in tahoe. Northstar is fun, but way to crowed. Boreal is a jib fest. Heavenly is good, but also very crowded. hope that helps.

Alpine's rail line was pretty good. It sucks now though. No maintaining to speak of.
I really liked squaws jumps. Heavenly has really short landings.

ohh i love threads directed at people in tahoe. i would say, parks, in illness order, are as follows in my opinion.
1-schralpine ghettos
2-northstar
3-sierra
4-squaw
5-boreal
6-heavenly?

although i kinda agree i cannot say that alpine is the best. the park may be ok but i just cant ski at alpine without getting a depressed sort of vibe. and squaw is better than sierra once it has its park up. and heavenly is sick. but i really was dissappointed with sierra. there were a couple cool jumps but only two lame ass rails and the rest of the jumps sucked. and yeah, once squaw is up and running it is one of the most fun. but the squaw alpine rivalry remains

^Okay, you obviously never skied Sierra when Bashful was up and running. Although, the jibs were better last year, it was still top 3.

are you saying if you want big jumps dont go to alpine? ^ Alpine had the biggest open to public jump in North america. you could take it to 90 feet if you wanted.

you get a depressed vibe? we all have so much fun at alpine, whenever ive been to northstar i think people are snarling at me all the time, so i say fuck it and turn up my music. ohhh and heavenlys park really isnt that dope, sierra's is way better. they were the only mountain to come close to alpine in terms of jumps. you must have been to sierra on an awful day... maybe a pow day and they didnt get a chance to groom. oh boreal owns for rails and maintence if you go during the day. the park had some challenging stuff, probably the hardest stuff in tahoe on the backside (S rail, big allie down rails, down/flat/downs, urban set)

northstar is dope for jibs, the jumps aren't as good as sierras. heavenly you can have fun, although mid season this year was pretty lame. over all, northstar and sierra are my favorite. northstar for rails, sierra for jumps.
