Yeah ninthward, i'm sure you we're in the fucking hospital by his bed for hours and hours saying that you had his back. I was there, Jenny was there, Salomon was there. You fucking weren't. Don't go post some shit on the fucking internet 6 months later saying now you got CR's back. If you had his back you would have kicked down time, money and love 6 months ago.

Now start paying your own fucking athletes, stop screwing over film companies and look in the mirror and realize your not fucking ghetto.

hohohoho.. Some how i dont think cambell is calling out the team manager form salomon or you (who ever you are) I think that he is calling out Salomon as a company for not surporting one of there own through injuries. Read the article about Evan Rapps on that web site mag thing, about how for over 3 years Rossi has helped rapps get better and keep him on contract out of pure loyalty to their athlete that put so much time and effort into promoting their company,and putting their balls on the line day in day out in order to help push the sport of skiing and the name of the rossi brand to the masses. Cr did way more for Salomon than Evan did for Rossi and there still surporting evan lke a mofo, I dont know the full story so im not gonna come on here and talk shit about certain individuals, but over all as a whole Salomon Sucks dick as a company and if they droped CR which i think may be true.
It further proves that Salomon is ahuge multi conglomerent company that doesnt give a shit about skiing and only wants to make more money.What ever the case CR you the man i hope you get better and come back harder than ever.

CR is the fucking shit. when i was 11 and on race skis a conversation with CR made me want to be a skier. he must have done that for so many kids and to say that isnt a big contribution is a total lie.

CR was probably the best person/role model/ skier we have had in this sport. and deserves respect, we cant deny our history or our future and cr is a part of both of those. he was the first guy o start talking about newschool in the backcountry and the first guy doing it.

ya that would be sick and all but after he has been acking more and more wannabe getto he has been getting worse and worse. also if solomon relly did drop him that sucks he used to be my faviourt pro skier back in the ski movie 3 and focused days but not so much. with all the respect for CR i hope solomon droping him comes as a wake up call saying your not getto or not as good as you used to be so stop smocking reffers in the trees as people have said in this thread and start getting back to what you said and i quote "This is what I love to do" from focused.

Heres a thought, If CR gets dropped by salomon after coming out of a coma, WHATS that say to guys like Sammy and dumont, basically your fucked if you get hurt. Look at how well Rossignol took care of Raps after his knee injury. Even if salomon didnt resign him thats crap. Not only do their skis suck ass but i also have to say fuck salomon cuz they suck

Salomon doesn't have the ability to keep any athlete through a coma. It's just not financially reasonable. If he wakes up not able to remember how to ski, then they still have him, and wasted money during that period of time.
I'm sorry for CR, but injuries are part of life. If he's that good, then he'll get picked up by another company really soon.

this whole thread is based on speculation. i havnt seen an informed attitude since i started reading it. these are very strong words to be using at this time, let the facts come out and then talk about it. NS is such a rumour mill.

and i gotta say i dont get the original point of this thread. of course everyone respects and supports CR, that's been made abundantly clear. for someone to go out of the way to say the obvious and attach their brand name to peoples feelings for CR is a little sketch. not to mention calling out salomon at a time when a 9th/salomon feud has generated lots of free publicity for them.

The answer: Oakley. Sure, they had him on health insurance, but the head @ Oakley had to threaten to drop their insurance company (when you're a big account, that's a big deal) so that it would cover Lance.

Loyalty always pays off. Your athletes are the guys who build your brand, your company, your image. They're the guys/girls who get your shit onto the podium at X, into hammer segments in movies, and into photos in magazines. They're the people talking to kids on the hill, getting them stoked, and getting them to ride harder, longer. They're role models (for better or worse) to tons of kids everywhere.

A company that sticks by a seriously injured athlete is ALWAYS better off in the long run, costs be damned.
