twintipping race skis

i just broke my lines and while i'm waiting for them to come back from the factory i took my old salomon x-free 9L skis and twintipped them in boiling water and put them in a mold overnight, do you think that will hold? i have seen other people do it but i'm not so sure it will work really well

i've heard of lots of people doing it some w/ good results and others with bad results

It will most likely delamn, unless you stuff a bunch of epoxy in it, clamp it for about 24 hours, then put a couple of rivets through the tail to make sure it holds.
