the DV is unavailable

hi,

I have a problem with premire and my video camera. When I try to import my vids premire says that the DV is unavailable and I don't know what that it mean and how I could solve my problem. My camecorder is a Panasonic PV-DV200D-K and I got the premire demo

please help me and thanks you if you are able to solve my problem

is you camera turned on and plugged into the computer? Did you set your devince control to what kinda camera you have? sometimes that is nescary.

no my camera is on, my pc too, my plug is like 9 pin that we plug in the computer, but I really don't know why it don't work

yeah, on a mac youd be ucky if the thing turned on! get firewire not serial.
