in an issue of freeze of freeskier this year there was an article about mike wilson and they were talking about how he threw a double misty one day. musta been one hell of a huck though

well a risky flip is a dspin 7 to backflip which has beeen done. i think spins will get bigger off more technical jumps. ex. a bio 1260 won't win the comp because the jump will be harder to do stuff off

how do you even get the motion for a double misty, you would have to fight your momentum so that you woudldnt come out of it.

there is a video somewhere of a double lincoln on a tramp, but i dont know if he could do it on skis too

wait, in adams double misty he comes out of it completely and then does another one. I was thinking more of like just not coming out of it at all and rolling twice. but his is much sicker because of the way he does it.

I agree, after a point if tricks get too big the distinction between newschool and aerials will become pretty fuzzy. Wilsons double misty for example, I'm sure it was sick but if I recall J. Levinthal described it by saying 'it looked like he was in a blender.' To me that doesn't sound particularly stylie. I think the future will involve bigger hits, crazier rails, more nutty shit on and off rails, and unnatural shit by the barrelful.

yeah. if you look at boarding slopestyle they never spin more than once the same way per run, backside, frontside, cab (switch frontside), switch backside, cork, ....
and old school tricks will come back
