skis for tall guys

ok so im like 6.2 and if i should by a park/pipe ski i would go for a pair thats 188-190 cm but there arent so many companies that make that long skiis.
and that shit sucks dont they want taller ppl to ski or is it the weight that makes a difference?

!!!!!!!!!!!IT'S WEIGHT THAT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you weigh anything under 190 a 181 1080 or PR 185 (something of that sort) NOTHING LONGER THAN 190 if you weigh 190......that is unless you're skiing big mountain, really fast etc. But I guaruntee you'll need nothing longer than a 185

I'm 6'3 and fairly light and I'm on 181 mad trix. They're definetly stable enough. Once you go up to 190 its just going to be a bitch in the air.

yeah i have the bcs 182 and they work for me but im thinking if u progress youll put alot of pressure on the skis ijwoafd w-ever

I never had any problems in the air on my Dragons. I had a few issues on rails, but I think that was primarily bad binding placement.

weight may be a factor for some but i ski on 184 , am 6' and 175 lbs and i wish mine were longer. of course i am from a racing background when straight skis were used and i can make a longer ski work a lot better for me tha a short one, most shorter skis get squiirlly when you actually use muscle in your turns, but ya for most people weight height distribution is the main factor

Seth pistols are too fucking soft for a big guy... they are for AK only!!!!!!!!!!
they are for a dude named Seth Morrison who is rather small. and MSPbum is retarded... he has a BC scratch logo... and the tall dude wants 188-190 skis, and he suggests the 185 pocket rockets! (which are fuckin noodles by the way). You can probably get away with the 185 ARVs (Armada) cuz they are stiff enough, or go for the 188 BC scratch... or the 188 Dynastar Jeremy Nobis Pro-Model. The Nobis is similar to the Little big fat... but better. And for park it is okay, cuz compared to the new park skis... the dimensions will work well for park. If i were you i'd go for the 185 ARVs... if you can find them that is...

I would NEVER suggest a stiff ski in a 188 to someone that you don't know.....the kid could be 155 lbs for all we know and Whistlermann I know you'd agree that he could never turn over a fuckin 188. I think we should let the kid at least give his weight before you start tellin him to buy 190..
