Making ipod speakers

has anyone made ipod speakers before? i really want some small speakers (or even big ones) but they dont have headphone jacks.. if anyone had a link for something like this or knew how, please tell me.

get computer speakers, they have a headphone jack

i got legit walkman speakers for 10 dolla at walmart that work fine

Ya dude, I just set up some pretty decent computer speakers in my room. They are plugged into the wall, so they can be pretty loud.

Here's what you need, get a Y-cable at bestbuy/futureshop or whatever and hook it into your speakers or an amplifier/sond system deal if you already have a system set up.

Here is a Y cable, as you can see one end goes into the headphone port then you have the right and left speaker channels.

i took some headphone form whe i got off a jet, cut off the headphones so i had 2 wires left, stripped the ends but it only worked on jacks with the little levers where you stick hte wire in, holdiong down some little button. teh nthe other end plugges righn into my ipod cause it was for headphones. it was really quiet tho
