i need to create an adapted film screenplay for the balcony love scene so first off i need to change the setting into a different sociocultural period. Anyone have any ideas

U.S in 1960 juliet is a hippy who is very libiral thinking and thinks the government should make some radical changes and romeo is the son of some upper class guy who owns a big environmentaly hazordus company and is the member of some junior right wing political party

perhaps you can go about it religeously?

for example.

romeo's father is an active member of the _____ religious community. so he is a priest or whatever u want him to be.
and in the same area there is say....an archeology museum and juliet's father is a powerful anthropologist who strongly believes in the ways of science and not religion.
i dunno just an idea. get some ideas bouncing around and you will find something u want.

its a good idea but it would be hard to do. I have to change the language to fit the time and i would have to write how they meet up and stuff
