Car Paint Job

I'm looking to buy a Nissan 300zx in the next few days but I have some concerns with the car. Its white, and it needs some body work, so I figured I'd custom paint the car . I was just wondering what a full paint job on a car costs. I heard anything from $700-1200 canadian, but I figured N.S could give me some specifics. Thanks guys. Much love :p

wow that is gonna be a reall cheap paintjob! Most likly really shitty! To get a simple gloss black/white color a GOOD paint job will run about 1500-2000 USD! Remember you get what you pay for, a great prep job is key! Shitty paint jobs may look good at first, but after a freez and a thaw the paint will start to pell!

don't do Macco, you'd better off just use finger paints, you gotta spend money to get a decent job done

Yeah paint jobs are very pricey, 2k-3k range just for a 'decent' one. Macco can do a job fine so ive read, its just the chances of it being fine and shitty lean more toward the shitty each time.
