I have not heard that much jazz singing before so I have no other singing to compare it to but I thought Karrin had a good singing voice. I was way more impressed with Rod Fleeman. I thought that he was really good at playing guitar and he had a ton of energy. Karrin was good at connecting with the audience. A couple times she would talk to people in the front row she knew and make jokes. She is a very good performer. I did not really like the scat parts of the song I would rather have heard just singing and crazy noises from the instruments. I would rather go see a big jazz band with trumpets and stuff.
I would also like you to comment on the people attending the concert, i.e., doesthere appear to be a variety of cultural backgrounds represented or does the crowd seem to be homogenous? Are there people of all ages or do people in attendance seem to be from a certain age group? What other similarities or differences do you notice? Please provide at least seven full lines of written information.
Most of the people at the concert look real similar. There is mostly people age 30 to 55. They are dressed conservatively and they are wearing khakis and button ups or semi-formal dresses. Almost all of the people who are between 18 and 20 are kids I recognize from jazz class. I was the only person there who was wearing a sweatshirt and sweats. I suppose I was supposed to dress up a little to go. A lot of the adults are drinking and red wine seems to be their drink of choice.
