The world of skiing is quite amazing, and the way we push the limits of rails can only be described as, uh, well I just want to hear some opinion, as this has been troubling me for a while.
How come we almost never see snowboarders or even rollerbladers doing whipped spins over 450 to rail taps? There is no argument in it being harder on a snowboard, in fact it would be much easier as they have more torque thanks to thier stance allowing them to spin even faster than us and they may land and slide a rail no matter what point in thier rotation they land at. I would just love to hear an explination as it has been killing me for a few days here!
Maybe the answer lies somewhere in where rails were originally borrowed from, or crossing the line that divides the likes of marc frank montoya from rob holmes?
