Touring Bindings

I want to get a fatty ski, prob over 100mm underfoot. Will touring bindings be strong enough tortionally to control the ski, or should I just put a alpine binding on it? If I were to get a touring bindings what skis and sizes would work best? Im told that there are new touring bindings on the market that are extreamly strong and stable tortionally, is it true and what is the brand?

if you get touring bindings...

Naxo Nx21 or Fritschi Freeride Plus.

They aren't as stiff as alpine binding, but IMO touring on them is much much nicer than with trekkers.

I dont think that either option is a better choice, both have their ups and downs.

IMO, I prefer to tour on real touring bindings.

Skiing isn't hindered that much. You just dont want to be dropping huge cliffs. Anything up to about 20 feet has been perfectly fine for me.

Ive had both the Freerides and the Nx21, and I like the Nx21 a lot more.
