I believe in God and the bible for sure, and yes there is a great thread about this not too far back, go check it out.

Yes, God is in the future and the past and the present. I belive that God knows exactly what you're going to do in your life. That is not pre-destiny because he knows what's going to happen. He's not making it happen for you. You have to make all the choices in your life, God doesn't make them for you, he may help you in the right direction but he's not making the decisions for you. He merely knows what choice you're going to make before you even start thinking about it. That's not pre-destiny, it's prior knowledge.

According to Nietschze, all that can happen has happenned or will happen. That means that there is free will, but only to a certain extent; the time at which you do something is different, but what you do will be the same. Essentially, that means that you can't control what you do, only when you do it. To me, that's not free will.

The reason why experience is so important is because memory is so unsatisfactory. And if an experience has been experienced by someone other than yourself, then for all intents and purposes, it has not been experienced; that is to say that the sensation cannot be felt by yourself if it was someone else who had it. So, yeah, free will indeed.

Yeah, I know, I was just trying to sound smart by quoting Nietschze. Personally, I think most philosophy done by So-crates and Plato is self-aggrandizing crap, but that's my opinion. The only theory of metaphysics I agree with is naturalism, which allows for entire free will, and for the full independent thought of the human mind. It seems to me that there are too many confounding variables in the universe to allow for fate or predestination.
