granted that most kids are idiots and can't find Iraq on a world map, if you look where the cont divide is, it's apparent that there are definitely mountains in idaho. therefore skiing. shit, you give MN a bad name.
i have never had the chance to ski schweitzer, i hear its awesome. i am always at silver tho because all my friends go there and i get a free pass there. maybe i will have to check out schweitzer at least once then.
Yeah I definetly prefer Schweitzer, especially on power days. Shweitzer has big open bowls that are long and there are some cliffs scattered around the area. SIlver has some fun steep stuff but the steepness is short lived and the runs are narrower so they get skied out much earlier of powder days. At Schweitzer, if you know where to go you can get fresh tracks at the end of the day on some of the main runs and good pow turns days after torms if you do some poking around. Shcweitzer also has a slightly better park though both of their parks leave a lot to be desired.
haha, yeah, i second that on the parks. silvers park isnt that great. they have a lot of features but they all feel really awkward to hit, like all the jumps feel really lippy. i will just have to try schweitzer next year then.
if silver had high speeds it would be fine, they have decent terrain, it just takes forever to get up the hill. i find i spend less time skiing down than i do taking the lift up.
