okay
download DVD Decrypter, it's hard to find... it's illegal in the states and thats where they make it so its only available on smaller sites, just google it it''ll work (if you can't find it DVD Fab Decrypter works well too)
then download 3gp converter its kinda hard to find its an asian program and there is many 3gp converters out there but this is the only one thats free...
put a dvd into your computer... open up dvd decrypter go to options and make it so that there is no file splitting (makes the whole movie one file)... press decrypt.......
when its done open up 3gp converter and select "english" at the bottom and "model mp4 for ipod"
when the things changes drag the file from the folder that dvd decrypter saved into onto the white part at the top of the box. It'll take maybe an hour for a feature length film.
3gp converter also automatically puts the files into i tunes so make sur that before you put the file into 3gp that you name the file however you want so u can recognize it after.
Also sometimes the file will dvd ok and you'll be able to watch it on your computer and /or burn a dvd/vcd with the file but when you put it into 3gp if there is an alternate sound file it will sometimes choose the alternate one. also sometimes the sound and video will unsync about halfway through... im still working on hopw to fix these but i havent figured it out yet. For example constantine is french when its finished and wedding crshers doesn't sync up

it works for most videos for me i have a whole season of the simpsons and family guy on my ipod aswell as lots of movies such as saw2 and bill and teds excellent adventure
P.S. to put movies that u've already got on ur computer just put those file into 3gp converter
