Cheap eating in/around mammoth

my buddy and i are going to mammoth for 6 days next week. what are some good places to eat in town where you can get good food for not too much cash? and im talking dinner. i assume we're gonna be eating breakfast in the condo and lunch on the mountain. any suggestions?

dude, just buy like a gallon of peanut butter, and like 4 loafs of bread, that will cost you like 15 bucks, and will last you for ever!

Hit up happy hour at Whiskey creek. During the summer I think it is 5-6:30. 1/2 Price entrees (so $4-10) and $10 pitchers.

dunno about dinner but Pita Pit in the village is cheaper than eating on mountain and has really good food

there was also a restaurant in town called angels that was pretty good. the sandwhich/salad combo for 8 bucks was clutch

word to happy hour at whiskey creek. i don't think you can find better food for cheaper than that.
eat grilled chicken cesar pitas at pita pit.
angels has amazing sandwiches, but isn't too cheap. not overly expensive though.
the deli at vons makes good sandwiches for $5. schats bakery amkes even better sandwiches.
