there were 4 winners for the young guns, but onnly 3 guys allowed per team....they played a game of pig the day before to see who had to sit out...and it was shea...super shitty it had to come down to that, but they all shredded the gnarkill anywho. It was a bummer that the guys didnt all quite ski to their potential...they also got scored horrible because they were the first to go..and they sessioned with rossi who got the best first round score out of anyone. Its hard to look good when your skiing side by side with candide...that being said schuster had one of the cleanest pretzels onn the downnrail all day...walker stomped almost every run, and lj and sash both killed it on all the rails...they made a pretty damnn good showing for being complete unnderdogs...all the guys were more than stoked on just bein in the event, and having the respect from the industry....they beat head, but really everyone in the whole event killed it...so hey...were all winners!!!! but yea...they all had a blast and thats what counts

the young gun team even going to the mastrs is a complete fucking joke. og course they were going to get thier asses whooped. most of them probably never competed agaist people half as good, just because they beat a bunch of kids at thier local mountain to win the young gun doesnt mean shit. lil jons tight

let me tell you from experience....LJ has alot mroe rail skill than 90% of the pros out there....he is absolutely amazing on rails. so talented, only thing is that he isnt always consistant, but thats because the shit he does is so hard that you cant be consistant with it

well, we got 9th, we straight up beat head and were one point away from beating atomic, and i bet if we had gone later in the day we would have been in with 4frnt and 9thward around 6th or 7th place... but yea i dunno if any of us are good enough to compete in the open, i mean thats a whole different level, i mean i did ok in the open last year and got into the big air, but i dunno if i should go back because i am a young gun now and we arent at that high level yet...

saying that the young guns aren't at the level of all of the other pro's is foolish. All of them are incredibly tallented kids, especially lj at rails. and Walker, Shea, and Shuester at jumps. It's to bad Shea didn't compete as well he kills it soo hard, hes fearless.

I was actually at the stratton young gun and i can assure you plenty of good people were there (including jeff kiesel), and they werent just "kids from the local mountain" alex flanders-schlopy flew out from colorado to get a second chance to win (he got 2nd or 3rd can't remember) and he threw down. so maybe know what you're talking about before you say anything. you are an 11 post newb for obvious reasons.

It's amazing how good the YG team was and how much we underestimate the pros of today. Think of it, if you watched the YG team throw down, it's amazing and yet they still wheren't even able to compete with the pros. It's crazy how sometimes we can overlook on how good the pros really are.

LJ just straight up destroys, hes got MAD rail skills.joe schuster is just good at everything, he had a part in safety meeting. shea flynn...dont know much about him but hes pretty good from what i hear. and then sasha is possibly one of the best skiier girls for being 16 and having only skiied 3 years....or 10 years even would be good. watch your mouth next time.
