I here a lot of AP talk on this site this time of year and wonder if anyone here takes the IB classes. Matt Walker and I just took those bio and history exams, any one have as much fun as we did?

I did IB a few years ago. I did econ, history, and literature. They were a lot better than i'd thought they would be, but thats only cause my school was really hard.

my HS was one of the top 100 public ones in the country, had 0 official AP classes....and yet I go to college now with people coming in with + credits, and they're half retarded.... how does that work?

Yes. What is IB? I've taken AP Bio, Calculus BC, Physics, and Computers AB. I'm in AP Chemistry this year, but I didn't take the test.

IB is international baccalaureate(sp?) and it is similar to the AP program but it is more focused on taking a whole grouping of tests rather than just a few individual tests. It's dumb though cause most schools, at least on the west coast, don't recognize it.

i did ib last year: bio, chem & english hl & geo, french & maths sl.
ib is a buttload of work compared to sace (south australian highschool thing)
