I need new skis for next season and well i really don't know if i should get - Line Chronic Wides Or 9thward butterlicious - really need help, plz respond!
how about you let this kid make the decision. ninthward makes really good skis and just because you dont agree with something they did doesn't mean this kid should get the chronics
I would get the ninthwards. If your 90% park than the chronic wide is not your ski. Even just the regular chronic is heavy and made for more all mountain backcountry.
NOOOO
the chronic wide is an all-mountain ski that can go into the BC, true. But it's extremely good in the park.
And they are extremely light. I own them.
haha yes. I have chronics sitting in my room and they are so light, and they are made to be stiff and light. even though they have fatty bases, they are much lighter than alot of skis. Im pretty sure they have the wieght in grams on the line website or the line UK site. but seeing as how you are 85 pounds, I guess anything feels heavy.
those skis are so oppisite of eachother. if you like to go all mountian alot, then go with cronics and if you like park pretty much all the time, they go with butterlious.
dont think that any twintip is heavy except for the old ones.
try real BC skis first.
but in any case, the old chronics were still uber light. If you thought they were heavy, grow muscle.
chronics are so light. one of the lightest twins out there, thats what LINE set out to do with the chronic, stiff and light. perfect combination. youre either 9 years old, dont have functioning legs, have really heavy bindings, or dont know what youre talking about.
chronics are soooooo tight. i have the regular kind, and i've skied on the wides and i adore them. they're great for going really huge and not dying. seriously, i have come out of huge corks and just been thinking that there was no way i would land, but some how i did. but aparently butterlisciouses are pretty sick. see if you can take them for a test ride. idk if you live on the east coast, but i do, so i dont really need the wideness but it might be good for you. the chronics are pretty stiff, but they have sooooo much pop. soooooo much.
um...........i don't think pe is was even mentioned as an option...........i guess when you ski without poles you lose your mind and start to see things...........j/k pe would be a quality choice though.
