Is Squaw / Alpine worth going to right now?

I'm 3-4 hours away, and I regularly made trips up doing the winter to ski, obviously it was worth it. I would love to go one more time, but are the park setups worth it? I'd have to convince other buddies to go, and if the parks are poor they would definately not want to go.

Heres the dealio. alpine has pretty much all there rails and boxes up, so its good. Squaw has been cutting there pipe so its good. the have 2 good tables that are about45maybe/50
And then the 2 bottom jumps are about 35 and there double stagers so theres a smaller side which are like 20 foot hits. Other than that they have an 85 foot hip, its fun. And they have almost all their rails up. That be the deal.

I was there all weekend. Thier pipe was sick and the tables were in pretty good shape. Ther'es plenty of rails too. All the slush made it hard to gain speed but it was definitely the trip up for spring skiing.

I was there yesterday, the tickets were $47 They had a lot of boxes and rails, a huge hip, their half pipe was clean, they had the biggest gap I have ever seen in my whole life, I dont know if it is open to the public though...they were filming on it yesterday, but the snow was better than I expected for May 24th! if you go have fun!

I don't know what tickets are right now, but you could find some discounts on craigslist probably. Check under Reno.

Goddam smart people like you. Instead of going i decided to get lost and drive around for 5 hours trying to find Brentwood so I could bike at Sand Hill. Every fucking person we asked for directions pointed us in the wrong direction. I knew I should've gone to Tahoe instead.
