Is my friend in trouble?

He and I went to go buy some zig zags and they asked him for his id and he gave him his drivers liscense since it said the right year but he was not yet 18 and they scanned it and stuff before he could take it back, so now hes all freaked out that they will catch him or something. Something like This ever happen to u guys.

why give them i.d. if you arent in of legal age if im carded i just say i forgot my i.d. i think it is a 25 dollar fine around here

actually if it was a real id nevermind if it was fake they just throw it out(atleast thats what they did to my friend)

buying ziggs will not get you into any trouble. Just deny you were using them for smoking. There is no way they can prove it and say you didn't know you had to be 18.

r u serious? adn we had a cop come to r skool to give us a drug tlak and she said it was legal to sell kids papers but no storte owners will so im flustered

No man... espicaly not if he's canadian. I dont know if they do it in the states, but id assume so. See they have people who's job it is to go to stores and buy things like ciggerrets. Underaged people. And if they store sells them stuff, they get huge fines. But if they ask for ID and present ID, its never fake ID... its just ID that says your underaged. If they dont ask for ID, then its their fault. But i mean, if the government pays people to go into stores and present ID that says they are under age to buy certian items, there is no way that your friend will get in any kind of trouble for trying to buy zigzags and not being alowed.

zig zags real purposes are indeed for joints, but everything in a store must say for tobacco use only. they cant advertise for marijuana use only

true story: my teacher told us that when she was like 16, she smoked a lot and had hella papers in her flute case because they were also good at cleaning off spit because they absorbed so much becuase they were so dense so that they burn slower. her mom found them and got mad and she told her that they were for her flute and her mom chilled out

Haha your chill man, don't worry about it. My friend had a fucking fake id made on my other friend's printer. We super glued the two sides to our student ID's. The funny part is that it worked. He went into a gas station and GOT THE FUCKING THING SCANNED. This completely fake, almost paper id. The guy gives the ID back and then smiles and says have a nice day. Mine worked like a charm until my mom found it.

buying that shit is no big deal, they cant prove you were gona use them to smoke, its assumed that you aare, but they cant prove it

yea there is nothing they can do it would be like you trying to buy cigareetes and get carded. in PA it is illeagle to sell tobaco products to minors( rolling papers are considered tobaco products under pa law) but a person can not get fined for trying to purchase or for posetion of them. unlike alcohal which is illeagle to try to buy. the only person that could get in trouble would be the store clerck and store if he would of sold them to you
