shin bang licks nuts!!!

who gets shin bang hella bad i sure as hell do
i think its because i keep going everyday and my boots lick fucking balls anybody know a cure for the shin bang
any remedies would be greatly appreciated

your suppose to apply ice at first, then apply heat and wear a heat retainer when u go to sleep, and when you go skiing tape it and it will reduce the strain on your leg, and allows them to recover faster. I feel so smart typing that :):). i guess it is good to pay attenion in class!!!

i used to get it super bad... i started wearing the top buckle looser and the second from the top one notch tighter and it doesn't happen anymore

I think I need new boots... mine are nice, but they are 3 years old and have lots of days skied on them... they are getting worn down i think...

land backwards. dead serious, try to avoid landing forwards whenever possible, particularly on jumps. it's really the only pain-free way to ride once you got shin bang. it wont actually get better unless you take a weekend or two off... which at the end of the season isn't all that fun. so yea whatever you're doin add a 180 and you'll be good.

Wooo, my boots are 5 years old, skied on over 150 8 hour days. there is no padding left. And yes for some reson i get shin bang, gee wonder why?

get spk's i used to get the bang a lot, then i got spk and dont get it anymore.. but after i got my new boots i then proceed to get a gnarly concussion do im out anyways... it blows.

Yep, landing switch helps alot if you can't (or don't want to) stop skiing until it heals. Pollard never gets shinbang.

All day if you sit in school or whatever plant your heels on the ground and move the fronts of your feet up and down real fast as if your playing a bass drum pedal or something. It works your shins and builds muscle, little trick i learned from a drummer.
