So now there is gonna be some show on network TV, I forget what channel. Who here is stockpiling shit already? I'm not worried yet but I havent heard anything about any government funding for vaccine research. Fuck government they are probably gonna get us all killed because they wont give anybody the money or incentives to come up with a vaccine. I say we all start trying to kill off the whole bird population, whos with me?

Alright that was out of nowhere and very random now lets hear what everybody else has to say.

Do you guys know how many deadly viruses their are running around just metephoricle inches away from killing us all. Bird Flu is just getting all the hype. Check out any of the Filiovirus family or more specifically any of the Ebola strain. You wont be so worried about this stupid bird flu after you see what Ebloa can do to you.

hahahaha ya i just said somethin about that movie tonite and started laughing. no one fuckin cares about aids in africa that is killin thousands monthly. but maybe someone might possibly get bird flu...except we keep all our chickens in cages so they wont be outside and it can only spread by bird to bird contact and they never see birds so it will never spread.

all that hype is just a way for Bush and Cheney to give government money to pharmacutical companies which are headed by their good friends. Which is the exact same reason we are in Iraq, so Bush's buddies can get rich from the new oil thats coming into our and every other country.

Personally, I think this is a big fucking joke. It is physically impossible for a virus to completely wipe out humanity. First of all quarantine will save lives and one disease can't affect everyone in the world. The DNA traiting proves it genetically impossible for humans to all be affected by one disease.

While an epidemic is inevitable, I don't think the disease should blown up to such a proportion as the media "hype". I mean let's face it, end of the world stories sell like hotcakes on a cold day.

I dont think they should make a show on it, it will just make people scared. When I first saw the ad for it on ABC I thpught it was for unknown super virus with all their serious talk of death and chaos. Towards the end I was thinking it could be about the bird flu and i was yelling "This better not be about bird flu, people are going to get freaked out." As soon as my mom got over me yelling for 'no reason' they said the title, which I cant recall but had bird flu included in the name.

nah bubonic plague is still out there, but a vast majority of us have adapted an immunity to it. pandemic scares the shit out of me, i hope we've got lots of the top researchers in the world working on this.
