no it wont, just make sure there arent any rocks around, because landing on them when there is no snow around will really mess up your skis. my fujatives got 3 8" long gashes in the tails cuz i came down on some rocks in my friends lawn

The only part that will mess up your skis is the rail. Or what u land on.

if u can get your hands on some straw, put the around the rail, so in case u slip off or ne thing you land on that and not on dirt or lil rocks or ne thing

What really has affected mine is when you fall off the rail on either side you almost always land right on the 2x4s that are supporting the rail. I usually put a tarp on either side of the rail covering them but I'm sure it's not great for the skis. The top layer of my sheets got fucked this summer and my bases have one core shot in them and a few scratches but other than that they're fine

Summer setups hurt your skis. Don't use your good skis. Especially if you put soap on them, which you probably will have to because its carpet, your bases will dry out really badly.
Every experience with summer setups have done this to my skis. If you have an msnow setup its not bad, but for carpet and astro turf it doesn't treat your skis very well.
