I'm looking at buying a Nissan 300 zx. I plan to drive this car all year round, through a Toronto Ontario winter. Am I going to kill myself driving a rear wheel drive car in the winter?
no, due to the nature of the car and the engine which im assuming freestyle is getting the GS with the 2JZGE engine. it is a hard model to get a manual tranny for. futhermore, not many people want a 5speed in a luxury car. thats why its rare, and if you understood economics, the supply and demand model comes into play.
i drive a rear-wheel drive bmw 740 through the toronto winters, and i get by fine. if it gets really icy, i just throw some stuff in the trunk and she holds. the only problem ive ever had is with my cottage driveway, which is tilted at about 35 degrees, and requires chains when its a sheet of ice
