no problems hunny, be home for dinner. It's just funny that you thought to bring a backpack to fill with useful items for your trek, but for got the sunscreen. It's a common ocurrence i know. I'm just pro sunscreen, i teach wakeboarding during the summer and i am on a boat 9-10 hours a day, and use so much of it. I actually have a friend that is my age 22 that has skin cancer from never wearing screen. It's ok to be tan, but when you burn or go unprotected it's not cool. Hope you have plenty of aloe
That was 2 weeks ago, after I burn like that (which I know is bad) I usually peel like 3 days later. Not bad or anything. Then after that I am tan for the rest of the summer. I also work outside all day long all summer. And I didn't own any sunscreen at that time. And yeah getting skin cancer would suck, but i'm just young and dumb right now so....thats my excuse.
It is estimated that 1 out of 7 people in the United States will develop some form of this cancer during their lifetime. One serious sunburn can increase the risk by as much as 50%.
shit i had somethign like that. i was in florida and sprayed sun screen on my back but didnt rub it in to it was like a couple white spalsh marks and the rest was white
i believe the correct term for a shirt tan is a farmers tan haha.....if you dont get red or sunburned when your out in the sun does it still increase your chances of skin cancer when you dont wear sunscreen?
