Try not to get a dorm at Williams Village, I paint there in the summer and they are the shittiest dorms in the entire world. But I might go there in 1 year anyway.

+ It's got a really good biology, chemistry, physics, law, and business departments.
+ The town is awesome, lots of cool places to go.
+ Really close skiing, and lots of skiers to go with.
+ So many chicks, it's insane.
+ Lots of jobs after grauduation really respect a CU degree, you're set if you have a major besides English, Art History, or Poli Sci.
+ You can get in-state tuition if you get a part-time job here, which there are a good amount of.
- Not really any reason not to go.

you can always look at a map to find that out, and all the summit county mountains are about 2 hours away, and there is winterpark and loveland and eldora (i think)

eldora is less than thirty minutes away. breck, keystone, and a-basin are an hour away, and vail is like an hour and a half or two hours away depending on the traffic. cu is the best D1 school to go to if you want to ski a bunch. the colorado pass gets you to all those mountains for three bills which isn't that bad.
