Anyone had that stuff? I've heard it's awesome. it's fungus that grows on snow and turns it purplish

Basically a weird fungus or some sort of bacteria grows on the snow causing it to change colors and giving it a taste. It's not bad for you and i'm wondering who's had it?

are you kidding me? yo that shit is really bad for you. its a fungus called giardia. you all can go look it up somewhere, but dont eat it. if you do, in about 6 months it will give you absolutely uncontrollable shits. i am serious. i learned about it on a backpacking trip in CO. just a little fyi to the guy who said he ate it...
