dude why would you need p18s thats over kill for a park ski, and there hard to find, ushually you have to order them, its uncommon that a shop will carry them

haha wow so wrong. theyre pretty heavy because they are all metal. that is why most people buy them, because the all metal construction is very very durable

Ha not, i trashed the fuck out of salomons and scratch bindings. My fks are as good as when i bought them after 1 season, best binding ever.

yea they are durable, but like i sayed there hard to find them, i had a real trouble getting myne and that was when i was a racer and had acces to the reps, most shop should be able to bring them in but it shall be costly and take time, but they are def worth it

my bad, i was a assuming, the 18s were made for world cup style races where they going mach 10, there are durable thou. All i was saying is dont you think there over kill, sence he wants a durable binding the 18s are a good choice

haha. After reading the comment that "p18s are like the lightest binding out there" I will never trust a thing that person says again. They are like boulders on your skis. But who cares, they hold up like boulders too

to bring in actual numbers.
the P18 is only .1 pounds heavier than the normal look bindings.
the actual weights:
Look Px ti - 5.3 lbs
P18 - 5.4 pounds
for other references:
s916s - 6.4 pounds
deadbolt 614 - 5.3 pounds
line reactor 12 - 7.1 pounds!!!!
mojo 15 - 5.2 pounds
just a few other them.
SO, you see, P18 are in fact NOT heavy. That is a misconception. They are metal, but they have a lot less material than the normal look bindings making them save a lot of weight.
Also - as someone who rides s916s on most of my skis, they really aren't THAT heavy.
