the sounds are my favorite band for sure. I love the new cd, but I still think that Living In America was much better overall. I saw them live in Boston a few weeks ago and it was soooo good. I hope they go on another tour soon after this one is done because I would love to see them again. Plus Maja (the leader singer) is beautiful.

I'm listening to some of their stuff and it's pretty good. Any specific songs I should hear, or equally as important, what other similar bands (same genre/sound) do you recommend. I need to find more music, and I want to reach in to the Indie/Alternative stuff.

the faint, the killers,hellogoodbye(kinda)
if your looking at it from the synth aspect

I really dislike the Killers, and Hellogoodbye has done nothing but annoy me when my girlfriend listens to them.
So try to deviate away from that powerpop synth stuff, and more of an alternative indie feel.

Saw them in Seattle last night. They rocked the house for thier last stop on thier tour. It was packed, hot, sweaty and a lot of pushing, but an amazing concert.
They finished with two of the guys on electro drums, playing them in syncrho tandem like those big japanese drums. Man, that lead singer likes to swear. Is this the case for all swedes?
Morning Wood played an amazing show beforehand...they are f*cking nuts.

you would not belive what i had to go through to get it, they don't import it to australia. that made it so hard, and i stil l can't get 'living in america'.

tony the beat is sick, cuz its about sex, and its in skiing and sarah burke skis and then i think about all 3 at once......yess. Song on a mission is also a sweeet song! plus on the album cover you can kinda see one of thier nipples.
