Pep seemed to like them this summer...
I should be getting mine soon (thanks again Gutt).
I REALLY can't wait to try them out. I've heard a lot of good things.

I think your friends are fucking with you, I've heard nothing but good things about those skis, some people seem to like them so much it's almost freaky.

the PEs are sweet skis. so responsive and the tail is just a little less than the tip but besides LINE with the equal tip and tail its one of the biggest. the side wall chips a little bit cuz its a sharp edge instead of a smooth one like cap construction. float in Pow really well. edges are strong as all hell and flex just enough, not too stiff or to soft. you'll love em

i got a pair of p.e's and i love em....i mean the top sheet and shit is really easy to fuck up so it doesn't *look* that great...........but the ski in itself has been holding up for me well, they're jsut so nice and wide. when i first got em i felt like i was wlaking/skiing around in clown shoes.

2 to 3.5 cms forward is the range that most of the athletes are skiing the PEs at. I have mine at 3 and they work well in the park but are super fun just skiing around on them too.
There was discussion earlier about the tail height, and the tail is about 1/2 inch lower than the tip and the rise is much steeper in the tail too (same with the Seth too). Pep wanted more tail than we had on the prototypes and we built it up based on his suggestions.
