Alcohol poisoning?

so over the weekend i was an idiot and chugged almost a whole 40 of absolut. i passed out like right away, well pretty much blacked out and puked like a mad man. it is now like 3 days later, i have lost a bunch of weight and feel like shit. should i be worried about anything or is this just getting mad drunk?

no i didnt go to the hospital my buddies took me back to their place and i slept, like a mad man. any advice on what i should do, eating, exercising and such?

Well your buddies are fucken dicks. If your unconcious and unable to talk or even show signs of life you need your stomach pumped. However you let a ridiculous amount of allcohol pass through your systema dn it has probably damaged your stomach and liver and fucked with your kidneys. Youll be fine. I would suggest drinking as much green tea as possible as it is a great anti oxidant. I would eat strictly healthy foods, lots of veggies since thebody rebuilds itself better with the nutrients from fruits and veggies. You'll be fine Ive had this happen to me before a couple times. If worse comes to worse go to the pharmacist and ask for any over the counter charcoal or anti nauseant pills. Thinks like gravol are pretty weak but they will stop you from wanting to puke.

alc. poisoning is from drinking too much and ur stomach has to be pumped or you DIE.

your just being an idiot right now.

^ that's not true, there are different levels of alcohol poisoning. He may have had it but just not so bad that any of the terrible side effects, such as a coma happened. Your friends are retarted though, you should have probably been taken to the doctor after such a stupid stunt.

^well, it would probably be better to get your stomach pumped and the carbon stuff put in your stomach to ensure that you are safe and not let it come to chance that you throw up enough to get enough alcohol out of your system. I mean, it obviously worked out fine, but it is a much better decision to be safe when someones life could be in your hands. And also, a stomach pump would probably have less after effects than throwing up for an entire day staight. Which would mean he wouldn't be bithcing right now.

^ yeah, they pump your stomach full of some carbon mixture and it helps soak up the alcohol so it isn't so ruff on your body.

nah i dont think my buddies are dicks they wasted their entire night looking after me. as well i dont think they thought hospital was an option as we are only 15/16. but i was just wondering what shit i should do now that ive fucked myself up

2 weeks ago i had a fifth of vodka, im only 135 lbs... and i went unconscious too, to the point where i could not be woken up and i was puking like crazy. I drank at 12 am Monday morning and was drunk until around 2 pm monday afternoon (14 hrs). That entire day and the next day my stomach hurt so bad, and I continued puking into monday night after I sobered up. I had a really bad hangover, and still had a hangover until tuesday evening. Just thinking about the smell of vodka made me gag for almost a week. However I did not have alcohol poisoning. Just thought I'd share that cute little story...

dude be careful. that can seriously fuck you up. i've almost died NUMEROUS times. i am 18 and i already have a deteriorating stomach lining as well as liver sorosis. the last time i was in the hospital my live and my kidneys totally shut down. it's really scary what alcohol can do to you. i hate to sound like a mom, i still drink, but just be fucking careful.

u know, technically if u throw up after drinking u have "alcohol poisoning", it just gets life threatening when u black out..... u should always have 911 posted right above ur phone since people have the IQ of a 2 year old when theyre blacked out

We send about 5 kids to the hospital for alcohol posining every weekend. Despite being ranked 15th for liberal arts schools in the nation, Hamilton College has a drinking problem.

one of my buddies hadda b pumped last year, he passed out, wasnt responding to fingers down his throat, anything... eventually we called 911, and they came and got him... but they said that if we had waited another half hour he woulda died, and if he wasnt a longdistance runner he'd b dead, since his heart is used to beating really slowly. so yea, be careful with that stuff man

Ah it's ok, my mates pass out quite a bit after drinking heavily. It usually follows throwing up. As long as you force them to drink a pint of water (to avoid the lovely hangover) and lay them in the recovery position they are usually ok. Just keep checking that if they are sick they don't choke. It takes a lot to get proper alcohol poisoning, the main danger is throwing up on your spew. Passing outs fine as long as you don't do that.
We had a few doing it last Thursday...Absinthe from Prague...80%...
