So I live in whistler, and i have 2 weeks beofre work starts, i am bored to shit up here......ssoo i was thinking of doing a road trip down threw the west coast of US. possible stopping at mammoth and stuff, but i was wondering where else should i go? i wnated to go to the grand canyon and try some surfing too.....anything else i should see/do while i am down? i was gonan bring my bike and do some biking in utah or somehitng but sinc ei am sleeping in the back of my truck it would porbally get stollen....anwyas what should i do?

if you are going from whistler to cali you will take i5 through oregon and washington. going to utah or the grand canyon would be wal the hell out of your way. like a good 3-4 days of solid driving out of your way.

go mt. biking to Moab, go on porcipine(sP?) and slickrock. Those are my two favorite places. A fun place in California is Sequoia or just go to somewhere in orange county, alot of skateparks adn surfing down there. Well, surfings not too great there, but not bad.

I'll respectfully disagree........the surfing is quite good in orange country. Just have to know where to go newport beach, huntington beach, san clemente (can we say trestles), laguna beach, and long beach all offer a great mix of surfing spots although some of the locals can be quite the bitches if your new too (and I speak from first hand experience on that).

Also do some oregon spring/summer skiing. Check out crater lake too, it will be worth your while.
