we were emailing right after the comp and i asked him about it and if he meant to do it and he replied:

" The first time....fuck no. I just realized in the air that, that was my only chance to survive and it worked. I did try it in the contest though. It looked liked shit. I'm not sure if it's possible to make it look smooth but i'm sure as hell going to try. "

yea but that would be insanily hard for any pro. Especially to throw a grab in their! like how will they get back around without moving their arms...jeeze, the sport is progressing so damn fast its insane....next we will have some random joe pulling combo moves from just like a video game.

ud have to like grab tip for a left side 90 and then tail for rightside 270

and then just likt tweak ur way through it

i'd say something of this importance deserves its own thread.

There have been dozens of threads about whether or not Pep did it on purpose, but this thread answers all the questions. Otherwise somebody else is gonna miss the reply and make another thread asking the same question. Not to say that they won't anyway...

lmao you kids need to go to school. theres no way you can make that trick look smooth, maybe a little better then JOI one but not by far, thats defying the laws of physics... the only way to do it is shloppy joloppy, and whoever said putting a grab in it would be sweet... your dreaming. not gunna happen, at least not on the switch 90.

i deffinently think that pep is the kind of person that can apply himself and work at something until he finally gets it but from my understanding of the physics behind how he gets his momentum around the other direction, it would take a lot of work (i would guess mostly in the abdominals and legs) to get it around, and because of this it would take a lot of work to make it look smooth, im not saying i doubt that he can do it, just that its hard to flex the abs, and work to rotate the body and make it look good, im stoked to see if he gets to use stuf like it in cometition
