yeah thats right, thanks to Jodi Rell and her bitch ass thinking, schools in CT are no longer allowed to have sweetened drinks served anywhere on schools starting tommorow May 2nd, 2006.
Heres a list of some drinks we cant have anymore:
-Yohoo
-Snapple
-Gatorade
-Ice Tea
-Welchs Grape Juice
-Welchs Strawberry Kiwi juice
Were only allowed to have water and milk
this is fucking bullshit

our school tried to do that and stop like selliny the candy and stuff but then somebody started a petition and like the whole school signed it and we won so we still have candy and stuff. petitions always work.. or at least my school anyway

woah, i didnt know about this and i live in CT. we have a ton a sweetened drinks. soda in locker rooms, gator aid, juice, yahoo, chocolate milk, some "switch drink" and maybe some others. thats wack. I dont know how they are going to get ride of the drinks they already have. im glad im a senor though

this is one of the reasons i love Canada's way of reasoning. If some stupid bitch-ass mom tried to stop sweet, sugary drinks from being sold in schools, people would say fuck that and not much else can be done. I couldn't and wouldn't stand for that man, it's a choice to buy sweet, syrupy, sugar-filled goodness at school.

49/50 states still allow sweetened soft drinks to be sold in school. Its also not some bitch-ass mom its the governor.
My school was sponsored by Coca Cola so it would have been an interesting situation for us I guess.
It sucks that they got rid of Gatorade. Most of that kind of stuff sold at my school was to the athletes who in most cases werent the ones getting too fat.

they did it because the obesity rate in connecticut has ballooned (pun intended). it sounds like a good idea in theory, but the real problem of obesity is excessive idleness and lack of real exercise and activity.

Vending machines are LOADED with sugar products... we have Fun Dip. That stuff is 100% sugar if you take away the paper wrapping...
lmao. Plus, we have every soda you can think of, , PLUS starbucks coffee drink vending machines that sell bottled frappachinos and doubleshots.

It starts June 1st Holmes. We still have machines and soda. Our powerade machine has one of those conveyor belts and it sometimes doesnt work so idiots dont notice and there are a bunch piled up on the bottom. We made a hook to get them out. PURE SKILLS

they are taking the soda out of my schools next year, the funny thing is unhealth diets is less then half the problem, kids sitting on there asses all day is, the schools shouldnt be able to take sugar drinks away untill they make a pe class required, is pure bs.
