looked pretty accidental to me, i think your all a little too excited. yeah, it was crazy he didnt die, but its not like that was a trick, it was just a flail to barely survive
at the jon invite, he was half way through a switch 180, so at 90 degrees at which point he flailed, and roted 270 degrees the other way and landed. it was a stunning feat of physics, whether or not it was deliberate we'll never know...
You're a fucking retard and so is anyone else who says it wan't on purpose. It totally was. It's way too difficult to do with out having planned it out.
it was definately on purpose. how can you do that on accident? if he was just flailing to avoid falling he would have just finished his rotation, hes fucking pep fujas, he knows how to do a fuckin 180 without stopping at 90 by accident.
not hes right, theres no way that you would rit that go 90 deg then accidentaly go the other way, he winded(sp?) up his body to throw then other way, its was real sick and give them long enough and they'll be able tomake it look straight up wicked
it was for sure on purpose. you guys are dumb.why would he flail to an opposite spinning 270 to land, defying the laws of physics rather than flail to one more 90 landing fine i dont think he would have flailed that much just on a switch one. it was on purpose
he wouldn't look so disconcerted if it was on purpose. I guess it's not. Probably he got his tip or something and lost so he went where it was possible to go. Anyway, this thread is pointless until someone asks to pep himself.
if it was on purpose, then why didnt he try to do it again cleaner? all you fucking midwest 12 year olds dont know shit, your all just gapers in disguise with all oakley gear, baggy pants, and spend more time gossiping than a prom queen
i don't know if it was on purpose or not. I do know that to stop your spin after 90 is damn hard, and in order to do that imagine even the talented pep would have to flail his arms to stop the spin and get ready to wind up for the reverse direction. In wakeboarding it's easy to change spin direction because you have something solid to pull against. So be it on purpose, or a massive recovery it was a crazy show of athelticisim (sp?)
very cool that he has enough air awareness to correct his mistake. clearly not on purpose though. looks to me like he was going zero spin and just caught his tip and managed a way to land on his feet
if he had kept spinning like that he wouldve done a sw cork 180 and landed on his back, so he saved himself by spinning the other way. o its not on purpose, just a good save
exacly what I think, it's definatly a save, you never went corcked accidently and saved it? he pretty much did the same but did a more fucked up thing...
he was prolly mad blazed and was like, watch this bitches.
for real though, if you go off a jump forward and do a twister, you can spin out of it the other way. so he did it switch. pep is just continuing to be so far ahead its inconceivable.
I'm pretty sure he did that on purpose, he was throwing down some pretty crazy stuff, he just decided to take it to the next level. You don't just decide halfway through a 180 to spin 270 the OPPOSITE way, he could have easily spun an extra 90 the right way.
i personally think that it was on purpose because lets face it how could you do that trick more smoothly man. He war freakin defying physics.on purpose for sho
I am 99.99999% sure it was an accident. Some pro who was @ the event and watched it and prolly talked to Pep said this, and I trust whoever that was (i can't really remember)
ok, i talked to ashley right after she talked to pep, and according to him, the first time WAS accidental, but then he started to compete it... so while that video my good friend fill blemming posted is accidental, apparently he is training it now...
it was on purpose have you never seen the flailing of the legs on purpose like it looks like your running but youre in the air. a few kids do it while doing huge 180s it looks pretty sick
i don't know about that bill. that would be hard to pull of on accident and i don't imagine that you could do that any more smooth just cuz of what it is. and it is way cooler to believe that it wasn;t accidental
we were emailing right after the comp and i asked him about it and if he meant to do it and he replied:
" The first time....fuck no. I just realized in the air that, that was my only chance to survive and it worked. I did try it in the contest though. It looked liked shit. I'm not sure if it's possible to make it look smooth but i'm sure as hell going to try. "
