hey i want to get the capix helmet with the brim thingy on it, except there are like 3 different kinds like that so which is the best for skiing? and do you need to wear a hat under it if its cold or are they warm enough? and last i need to know what size to get, i have a hifi in large but it fits me a little big so i probably fit a medium better, so what size should i get if i wear a hat under it or not?
i rock a capix, its chill in the spring but pretty cold and hats dont really fit under comfortably. berns are prob a better buy for a year round helmet.
I had a capix, but it didn't fit me at all. Check out Bern, they work for kayaking as well as snow, and they have superior foam to a lot of the shit on the market. As with any helmet, try it on and make sure it fitsbefore you buy it. A helmet that doesn't fit doesn't do anything for you.
they run kind of small or atleast compared to giro my bad lieutenant is a medium and fits fine but the medium bern was tight so maybe i'd go a size up www.fireonthemtn.com has people wearing them
