Just woke up, rant.

i see alot of bitch ing going on, and alot of it is true, and alot of it comes from the end of the season.
But,these companies arent showing enough support to the kids that are supporting them. never have i met a ski rep on the snow, WORKING, meeting riders, showing off products. Except mike nick, ive never met any industry people except for in the bar.
these companies are successful because of us, and this season i talked to pros that arent making it. if these pros cant make a living out of it, then the industry is taking too much money. these companies need to stop wasting their profits and focus on helping the people that started this shit.

Like K2, they dont even have a team to enter in the orage masters. what the fuck? your rtelling me you spent too much money advertising some stupid magazine and a backcountrry comp? yeah both were very cool, but hello, why should i support you after you didnt support anyone all season long.

A rossignol and a 4frnt rep were at my mountain this year. And our mountain has 5 trails!! maybe the reps are at your mountan but its really big so you dont see them.

As far as K2, they're supporting Seth Morrison, Pep Fujas, Chris Benchetler, Josh Bibby, Michelle Parker, Andy Mahre, Chris Booth, Espen Linnerud, PK Hunder, Alex Balsen, Sean Petit, a shitload of other skiers and of course the company employees. I don't think their decision not to enter the Masters has anything to do with "spending too much money." I'm a bit confused, what exactly are you ranting about? That there aren't enough reps at your mountain?

hes ranting about how reps arent advertising their product in an effective way with getting involved into the sport...they are just there to have people come to them. hes also talking about how k2 can sponsor that golf thing with a ton of money but still not even put together an orage team

or when you ask line if they give sponsorships and they tell you that they cant give them to everyone (without seeing a vid or anything) but can offer you a spot on a list of 10000 on thier website.
