i dont remember who it was, but i agree with one of his recent posts about this ski.
'best ski ever'
I got this ski, and my first day on it was the day after a 19' overnight dump last week. I wanted to grab the Little Big Fat, but decided to just ski the TM because i was so anxious. This ski was sick, even in the deep snow. (I do think however if i had the 185 version it would have been better, and perhaps the same ski, but 1cm wider all the way down, Troublemaker BC?) Anyway, that afternoon when the pow was all gone on the open runs, i decided to ski bumps. This ski was pretty good, being a softer mid-fat. On groomed runs it is very quick, somthing to get used to, is the speed you travel can put energy into the 'Spring Blade Concept' and if you go over a small roller, or mogul, or even just ollie off of the ground at speed, you will get much more air than your old skis. I almost got thrown off balance because of the pop i got off of a mogul. That special core thing works!
In the park there is nothing better. I had Scratch, I rode Armada, I had the Concept. The TM is the top ski. It is super stable, pops you so much better, you wont case landings as much, and over shoot isnt much to worry about because the skis are so stable on landings, they make them feel softer.
If ur into jibbing, definitly grind the edges down a little bit under your foot. I went rail sliding the first day i took them out of the box. I didnt touch my edges, and they were digging into rails. Most rails are made of soft metals, so they weld together easier. Dynastar puts hard metal edges on, to reduce edge wear so you can ride the pipe all year without touching the edges.
I took a small stone and rounded them out ever so slightly, and they are sick, ready to go. The base is also harder than ur old skis, so they dont wear down on jibs and when you hit rocks. However they dont absorb as much wax. Dynastar has found the happy medium between wear resistance and wax absorption. It's a park ski, not Bode's race ski. The TM will go as fast as you'll ever need to go, and lasts more than a season of rail sliding.
If you actually read this novel, you need to buy theses skis and go to the mountain because you have been looking at your computer screen too long. I have smoked 2 bowls while writing this, so im going to the mountain.
