Ya, so im pretty much leaving it up to you guys on what mp3 player i should get. I dont think im getting an ipod cause everyone has them and they're overpriced. I've found some pretty good deals and narrowed it down to 2 ones that im really considering. If you know of any other good deals on reliable mp3 players with a good storage amount, tell me. Also, can you give me some opinions on the 2 i've narrowed down? Here's the links to the ones i've found.
This is a toshiba gigbeat 40gig. I think im kind of leaning this way out of the 2 because its got 40gig storage and is about the same price as the other.

The other one is an iRiver H10, 20gigs. It's got 1/2 the storage but its a tiny
bit cheaper and im probly never going to use 40gigs anyways. So this is also an option but im still leaning towards the other one because its got more storage in case i ever need that much.

do you have to use the software it comes with or can you use other programs? Im also considering saving up my money for a while longer and going for a video. Either the video ipod or the creative zen vision:m. I think im leaning towards the zen cause it has better battery life and it comes in green, which is sick. Only problem is that its a tiny bit thicker.

oh the iRiver is a very nice player. its one of the best rated on the market. id personaly go with it. you wont be dissappointed.

Whats nice about the iRiver is that you don't need any software to put music on. You can use the software they give you, or other ones, or you can just drag and drop the files directly onto the player. This also means that you can grab songs off friends comps with no trouble, real easy.

you can use something else than the software to upload your music to your player, but it's even more complicated than using the software that came with the gigabeat

oh ok, so now i guess the decision is; do i go with the iriver 20 gig for 188, or do i save up and get a video, either creative zen vision:m or ipod video. What do you guys think. And i dont have a job until after school ends so it'd be a while before i could even start to save up.

iPods are sooo worth it
but they break a lot.
hah i've gone through at least 4.
just make sure you have a good computer and you should be fine.

look on slickdeals.net and check woot.com daily to find great deals on mp3 players. and how much money do u have to spend, cause u can get and ipod video for $270 or possibly cheaper.

Ipods are lame and creatives are sometimes glichy and not as convenent get the iriver like said before there very easy to transfer music onto

ya, so basically i've decided on either the iriver or the creative vision:m. Now im not sure if i should just get the iriver one now and have to wait and save up my money and get the creative. As i said earlier though i dont get a job until the summer so it'd be a while til i get another 100 bucks or so.
