Live in a single when going to college

So yea, I now highly reccommend living in a single when you go to college.

So last weekend was Hot Dog Day here in Alfred. It is a holiday that the college made up because nothing historical or remotely interesting has ever happened in Alfred. A roomate of mine partied a little too hard, coming home early Saturday morning feeling a little under the weather. He needs to throw up, but the bathroom is too far. He decides on the garbage can. Afterwards he passes out. He didn't remember any of this, so it sat there. The other suitemate had some ice cream in the freezer that started to go bad, so he threw that out. This was on Monday. So the stomach acids, liquor and ice cream got all week to mix together.

Today I go to get a glass of water. There was garbage all over the counter so I had to clear it off in order to make room for the cup. The garbage bag was full so I decide to change it. It was too full to tie off right, so I put it inside another garbage bag. While I was doing this, the juices are dripping out of the garbage bag. I didn't realize this until I smelled it, which was about the same time it got all over my feet. I saw two huge puddles of it on the floor. I ran out of my suite, down the stairs and out to the dumpster. Walking back up I saw little puddles of it all down the stairway in my dorm. I scubbed the puddles in my room for about 45 minutes, and only managed to cut the smell down by half, mixed with a little febreeze (which doesn't kill, or even cover up odors for shit). Everytime somebody from a different suite walks out of their room I can hear them gagging and complaining about the smell.

So, if I don't get a single next year, I'll be pissed.
