RIP Bill Kirschner

The founder and former chairman of K2 skis passed away on saturday from pneumonia, while recovering from surgery in a Seattle area hospital. He was 87. He will be remembered as the man who created the american ski icon that is K2. To anyone who can make it, there will be a memorial this saturday at 2pm at K2 headquarters on Vashon. RIP to an industry pioneer.

technically it as him and his brother who created the company, henec K2. but he is someone to be remembered in the ski industry non the less
