The founder and former chairman of K2 skis passed away on saturday from pneumonia, while recovering from surgery in a Seattle area hospital. He was 87. He will be remembered as the man who created the american ski icon that is K2. To anyone in the Seattle area, there will be a memorial this saturday at 2pm at K2 headquarters on Vashon. RIP to an industry pioneer.
this season has taken soo many industry pioneers and legends. at least Bill was 87, most of the deaths this year have been people way too young to leave.
